This page contains information of interest to existing (or prospective) members of the choir. RehearsalsRehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings in Room 139 at the MAC unless otherwise notified. Singers should be ready to start warming up at the indicated time of the rehearsal, normally 7pm. If you have to miss a rehearsal, you must let Lee know as soon as possible, and be prepared to spend some time catching up on what you miss (Lee usually lets absentees know what to look at). Fund Raising and PublicityThe board asks each singer to bring in at least $100 of income to the choir each year. This can be by selling five or more concert tickets, making or securing a tax-deductible contribution, or selling ads for our programs. See the attachments at the bottom of this page for publicity handouts and forms. We provide postcards before each concert that can be mailed or given to your friends and colleagues. You can become a fan of New Classic Singers on Facebook, and link your website to www.newclassicsingers.org. If you have email addresses you regularly send concert information to, you can add them to our publicity list so your friends never need miss a concert.Concert AttireConcert dress is all black, and dressy enough to be suitable for performances in churches or concert halls.
