One of the greatest sacred works ever written, this Russian Romantic masterwork is the crowning capstone to our 27th season.
June 26 and 27, 2009, 7.30pm, Dominican University Performing Arts Center, River Forest, ILWith conductor Fr. Dennis Schafer, soloists Alan Held and Stacy Eckert and the Ars Viva Symphony Orchestra. The program features Fr. Robert Hutmacher's Dialogue of Francis and Clare, and will also include Five Mystical Songs by Ralph Vaughan Williams and Robert Hutmacher's Essay for String Orchestra: Prayer for Peace.
